Valinor Enterprises Secures $54 Million Series A Funding Round
Valinor Enterprises, an operational holding company focused on defense and government technology, announced today that it has secured $54 million in Series A funding, raising its total capital to over $85 million. Friends & Family Capital, the venture firm co-founded by former Palantir CFO Colin Anderson and seasoned investor John Fogelsong, led the round. With extensive experience in finance and capital allocation, Anderson and Fogelsong are well-positioned to drive Valinor’s growth as it develops a unique economic model for the defense sector. The Series A round also included ongoing support from previous investors, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, and Red Cell Partners. New investors, such as Narya, XYZ Venture Capital, and Fifth Down Capital, also joined this latest round.
Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Washington, DC, Valinor is dedicated to solving critical government challenges. By centralizing infrastructure and go-to-market strategies while decentralizing engineering, Valinor is able to quickly deliver tailored solutions, rapidly moving from identifying needs to developing impactful products. Julie Bush, Co-Founder and CEO of Valinor Enterprises, emphasized that simply creating innovative products is not enough; reinventing and diversifying business models is essential to serve warfighters and civil servants better.
Valinor’s hub-and-spoke approach has demonstrated success, launching five product companies to market in 2025, including Harbor, a “field hospital in a box“ that was deployed in three months and targets combat casualty care. These companies have delivered results swiftly, winning government contracts and supporting key missions across the Department of War, the Intelligence Community, civilian U.S. agencies, and commercial clients. Aside from Harbor, companies include:
Reflex: An advanced smart optics solution with embedded vision models, adding intelligence directly at the point of data capture.
Dispatch: A modular charging node developed to power unmanned systems for continuous autonomous operations.
Streamline: Secure data ingestion software for use in disconnected environments and by distributed teams.
Condor: An attritable unmanned aerial system (UAS) tailored for air- and ground-launch, scalable production, and challenging operational settings, built entirely on a U.S. supply chain.
Valinor is now expanding into three new areas: military construction and infrastructure, munitions lifecycle management, and maritime support systems. These new ventures will begin public rollout in early 2026.
Colin Anderson stated, “Having helped build Palantir and invested in Anduril and SpaceX, we understand what delivering effective products to major defense and government challenges requires. However, addressing less obvious problems calls for a fresh approach, and we’re proud to back Valinor as it brings proven operational holding company models from software and biotech to urgent national security missions.”
Paul Kwan, Co-Founder of Valinor Enterprises and Managing Director of General Catalyst’s Global Resilience team, highlighted, “Each Valinor product alone can fundamentally transform outcomes for frontline personnel. Together, they signal a major shift in how defense, national security, and public sector products are sourced, developed, and deployed.”
