Isar Aerospace Second Attempt at First Orbital Launch from Continental Europe
Isar Aerospace, near Munich, Germany, will attempt the first launch of its Spectrum rocket on Thursday, March 27 at 11:30 UTC from Andøya Space Center in Norway. High winds scrubbed an earlier attempt on Monday, March 24. The three-hour window ends at 14:30 UTC. The Norwegian Civil Aviation Authority granted a permit on Friday, March 14, with the launch period starting Thursday, March 20. This mission will be a test of rocket systems without a payload. Isar considers the test a success regardless of the outcome.
