German Drone Manufacturer Twentyfour Industries Emerges from Stealth Mode
Munich-based drone maker, Twentyfour Industries, incorporated in late 2024, has announced its emergence from stealth mode along with $11.8 million in investment from Lakestar, OTB Ventures, and 468 Capital.
The company says it transitioned from designing drones to manufacturing and deploying them in less than a year. Having developed its first product, a cost-efficient, mass-manufacturable 10-inch quadcopter drone, the startup claims to have produced and delivered hundreds of units that are now actively used by European soldiers. It also reports signing revenue-generating contracts across several countries. Contract specifics were withheld.
Currently, Europe faces challenges including limited drone production capacity and a shortage of trained operators, which leaves the region dependent on fragile supply chains and foreign expertise. Twentyfour Industries was founded to address this gap. Clemens Kürten, co-founder and CEO, stated: “Our clear goal is to support European and allied partners with comprehensive solutions, covering products, training, and life-cycle management. We’re building organizational strength to design, produce, and deliver unmanned systems faster, more reliably, and more economically than anyone else in Europe.”
Erik Linden, co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer, added: “From the start, we’ve focused on delivery over complexity and proving our capabilities by meeting real needs. By working directly with field operators, every product improvement is based on practical feedback, helping us move quickly and provide greater value.”
Twentyfour Industries continues to work to expand its product line and scale modular manufacturing to thousands of units monthly in Germany, while preparing for additional production sites across Europe.
