AI Startup, AIRIA, Announces Completion of Seed Funding Round
AIRIA, headquartered in New York, is transforming real-time signal data into spatial intelligence for organizations. Recently, the startup completed its seed funding round with backing from Counterview Capital and Fulcrum Venture Group. The new funding will support the launch of AIRIA Federal, aimed at delivering advanced AI solutions to U.S. federal agencies for enhanced security and preparedness.
Founded in 2020, AIRIA has secured commercial clients and a Department of Defense contract, including AFWERX STTR Phase II. The team works with government partners to protect military and national interests. Recently, AIRIA has also been expanding in the higher education and commercial sectors by helping clients optimize space use, lower costs, boost sustainability, and automate operations through data-driven insights.
“AIRIA’s platform delivers real-time spatial intelligence that’s helping universities reduce emissions and manage risk, and offers similar value to defense and disaster response,” said Andrew Bartholomew of Fulcrum Venture Group. Edward Nass, AIRIA CEO, added, “We are transforming how organizations understand and respond to the movement of people, devices and signals in dynamic spaces to drive operational excellence. This funding is a critical step toward expanding our commercial and defense applications, especially as we scale real-time situational awareness using advanced signal intelligence. We’re excited to accelerate our mission with the support of our growing team, investors and partners.”
